Leopard & Camel

Well it was back to earth with a bang. Monday morning, kids back at school. pouring rain.
Then I remembered I found this jumper in Primark last week, on the sale rail, for just £5! Nothing like a gorgeous new sweater to brighten up your Monday morning and make getting dressed easy. Dodgy pose just to show you the shape of it - it's oversized, a little longer at the back and with narrow arms. My favourite!
Despite the rain, I wore my boiled wool Esprit leopard coat.
I bought this a couple of years ago in Menarys and it's almost like big cosy cardigan so I end up wearing it all day even around the house.
But it was perfect for all the running about between school runs and gymnastics. And it kept me warm when I did a couple of hours work in the morning.
Coat - Esprit (past season)
Jean - F&F at Tesco
Jumper - Primark (current sale stock)
Necklace - past season from my own shop

Finished the day with a 5K run to choir at a decent pace although my legs were tired from the Paris so I did have to stop once and walk a couple of hundred yards. But a few hours singing is great for the mind & body and I came home buzzing (though not running....too late for that!)

Hope you had a good start to the week too. Back with a beauty post next....all my empties from last month and a new purchase from duty free.

  1. What a brilliant sweater bargain Avril and such a wardrobe winner too! Exactly what is needed why the temps are still a bit low! I've got something similar from H&M that I've had for a couple of years that is such a great transitional piece, fab for layering too! Love it with your leopard print coat xx

  2. Can't believe you found that in the Primark sale! It's lovely and the colour really suits you. Jane X
